Salt & Light ministry for young adults hosted a retreat at Camp Shiloh near Lincoln March 16, attracting close to 100 participants from Nebraska, Kansas, and Iowa. The Cathedral of the Risen Christ in Lincoln hosted “Light the Night” Jan. 29, a holy hour of thanksgiving and prayer for the gift of Catholic education in the Diocese of Lincoln.
Bishop James Conley spoke and the “Soaring Singers” choir from St. Michael School in Lincoln provided music. Priests were available to hear confessions. Participants were invited to come forward to the altar and light candles for prayer intentions.
